 (This is a list of baby names I found on the top 1000 of the social security baby names' list. These names are names that I think are uncommon, unheard of or are ready for a comeback, and I think would be interesting to see on a baby today. All name meanings were found on behindthename.com.)

1. Arietta- number #1000 in 1910, it is either a diminutive of Aria, means "song" or "melody" or also given after the musical term from the Italian word "arietta". It is currently not in the top 1000 for 2014.
2. Aili- number 971 in 1910, it is a Sami form of Helga, which is a feminine form Helge meaning "holy, blessed". It is currently not in the top 1000 for 2014.
3. Luetta- number 869 in 1910, it is a combination of Lou and the suffix etta, Lou is a short form of Louis, which is a form of Ludwig meaning "famous" and "war, battle". It is currently not in the top 1000 for 2014.
4. Almeta- number 845 in 1910, it is probably a variant of Almeda meaning "the city" or "polar grove". It is currently not in the top 1000 for 2014.
5. Thora- number 703 in 1910, it is possibly a feminine form of Thor meaning "thunder". It is currently not in the top 1000 for 2014.
6. Rosamond- number 602 in 1910, it is a variant of Rosamund meaning "horse" and "protection". It is currently not in the top 1000 for 2014.
7. Albertha- number 576 in 1910, it is a variant of Alberta, which is a feminine form of Albert meaning "noble" and "bright". It is currently not in the top 1000 for 2014.
8. Agatha- number 450 in 1910, means "good" and it is currently not in the top 1000 for 2014.
9. Elvira- number 263 in 1910, possibly meaning "all" and "true" and it is currently not in the top 1000 for 2014.
10. Lenora- number 262 in 1910, it is a short form of Eleanor, which has an unknown meaning. It is currently not in the top 1000 for 2014.

12. Estelle- number 112 in 1910, means "star" and it is currently ranked 906 in 2014.
13. Velma- number 90 in 1910, it is probably a variant of Wilma, which is a short form of Wilhelmina. Wilhelmina is a feminine form of Wilhelm meaning "will, desire" and "helmet, protection". It is currently not in the top 1000 for 2014.
14. Opal- number 87 in 1910, means "jewel" and it is currently not in the top 1000 for 2014.
