New Names I am Loving Lately

These are names I have just recently fallen in love with and I thought I would share them with you!

Girls:
1. Gwyna- I love the name Gwen/Gwyn but not on its own and I don't like the names that it is used as a nickname for. I was thinking about Gwen/Gwyn and just thought why not Gwyna.

2. Maewyn- I have liked this name for a while, but I have just recently started loving it. I love a good Mae name, because Mae names are beautiful and Mae is a family name for me.

3. Clara- I have always liked this classic name, but I find it much more charming and elegant than I did before.

4.Ida- It sounds so spunky, short and sweet. My grandmother's middle name is Idabell and this is would be a wonderful tribute to her.

5. Farren- I love girls' names that have the -Ren- sound in them and this name sounds very light and whimsical to me.

Boys:
6. Sydney- This is a family name for me, so I have always had this name in the back of my mind. It sounds handsome to me and this would honor a departed loved one if I ever use it.

7. Eliam- This name sounds so cool and reminds me of the popular name Liam. I also like the nickname Eli for this name.

8. Osiris- I am in love with SO many boys' names that end in s. This name sounds strong and I love the nickname options for this name.

9. Alastor- I have loved the nickname Al for a long time, but I dislike most Al names, until I started looking at the names for the Harry Potter series for one of my posts. Of course, I had previously read all of the books, but sometimes I don't realize a names potential upon first hearing it.

10. Mazor- I love this name, although I am still unsure if I would ever be brave enough to use.

Name of the Week

Ursa Ursa is the name of two constellations: Ursa Major and Ursa Minor. It means "Bear" in Latin. Ursa has never been in the top 1000 in the United States. It would make a great alternative to names like Ava, Ella, Leah, and Nora. I personally love this name. If anyone wants to you can comment below and tell me what you think of this name.
